What this is
QR Code Free Forever makes QR codes for links, Wi-Fi networks, phone numbers, contact cards and a dozen other things. You type, the code redraws, you download it. There is no Generate button and no sign-up screen.
Everything happens inside your browser. The page never sends what you type to a server, because there is no server involved in making the code — the drawing is built by JavaScript running on your own device.
Why the codes are static
Most QR sites give you a dynamic code. It points at their server, and their server forwards visitors to your link. That lets you change the destination later and count scans — and it also means your printed code stops working the day the subscription lapses, the trial ends, or the company closes.
Our codes are static: the address is written inside the drawing itself. Nobody sits in the middle. The honest trade-off is that you cannot change the destination after printing, and there are no scan statistics. If you need to change where it goes, point the code at a page you control and change the page.
This is also why the site can be free forever without a catch: a static code costs us nothing to keep working, because we are not keeping it working. It works on its own.
How the site pays for itself
Advertising. There is no paid tier, no upsell and nothing behind a login. We do not sell data — the tool does not collect any to sell. Ads are served by Google AdSense, which sets its own cookies; that is described in the Cookie Policy.
What we do not do
