Terms of Use
Plain terms for a free tool. The codes you make are yours to use however you like, including commercially. In exchange, you check that they scan before you spend money on printing.
1. Who these terms are with
This site is operated by [OWNER NAME OR COMPANY] ([COUNTRY]). By using it you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the site.
2. The service
QR Code Free Forever generates QR codes in your browser and lets you download them. It is free, requires no account, and is provided as-is. We may change, suspend or discontinue the site at any time without notice.
Codes you have already downloaded are unaffected by that. They do not depend on this site to keep working.
3. Your codes are yours
- You own every code you generate here.
- You may use them for commercial purposes without paying us anything.
- No attribution is required and no watermark is applied.
- We claim no rights over the content you encode or the images you upload.
4. Your responsibilities
- Test before you print. Scan the code with the phones your audience will use, at the distance and size you intend, before committing to a print run. This matters because a QR code can look perfect on screen and fail on paper.
- Use lawful destinations. You are responsible for whatever the code points to.
- Only upload images you have the right to use. If you place a company logo in the centre of a code, that is your decision and your responsibility — we do not supply brand logos precisely because their owners restrict them.
5. Prohibited uses
Do not use this site to create codes that lead to malware, phishing pages, fraud, content that is illegal where it is distributed, or material that impersonates another person or organisation. Do not attempt to disrupt the site or its infrastructure.
6. No warranty
The site is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that a generated code will scan on every device, at every size, on every material, or under every lighting condition.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this site, including the cost of reprinting materials, lost business, or scans that did not happen. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
In plain words: if you print ten thousand flyers with a code you never tested, that is not something we can put right. Print one first and scan it.
8. Advertising and third-party links
This site shows advertising and may link to other sites. We do not control their content and are not responsible for it.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [COUNTRY OR STATE], and disputes are subject to the courts of [CITY / JURISDICTION], without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
